Our Customer's Requirements

To create an ‘at the movies’ experience and surround sound sensation in a newly refurbished home. To achieve a modern contemporary look sympathetic to the renovated property. To provide a total turnkey service including supply and installation, plus all cabling and electrical work.

Our Solution

First we carried out a free home survey to assess the property, discuss client requirements and work out the optimum home cinema system. After consultation with the client, we selected a 10' x 7' 6", 16:9 aspect ratio screen and Hitachi projector.

A projector and screen was chosen over a plasma screen, as this can be a more cost effective way of achieving the maximum image size. Projectors require a darkened room, so we also fitted an electronic system of blinds and curtains, together with mood lighting.

To produce that all-round movie sound, we opted for a KEF surround sound system with HKM powered subwoofer.

The screen and projector retracted neatly into the ceiling and the sound system was concealed discreetly within the room, giving a clean, uncluttered look when there was no film show. All cabling was hidden out of sight beneath the floor.

We installed a fully integrated top-of-the-range control system operating everything from a single remote control, which could lower the blinds, draw the curtains, dim the lights and roll the credits.

The client also possessed an extensive music library of over 2,000 CDs for which we created an integrated computer network to store the collection and play it through the surround sound system. Find out how we can produce a home cinema and concert hall for you.
