To provide approximately 50 custom-made protective cases for shipping 42"-50" plasma screens to Dixons customers

Our Customer's Requirements

Dixons had bought in a large number of plasma screens to satisfy this meteoric market. Screens needed to be delivered to customers in a bespoke case that would protect these valuable and fragile products. The case also had to be retained by the customer, so that the screen could be sent back safely in the event of any warranty work. Traditional delivery boxes tended to be lost or destroyed.

Our Solution

In conjunction with our manufacturing partner, we created and supplied hand-made, high quality protective cases. Each case was individually tailored to suit each plasma screen and lined with foam cut to the screen’s exact shape.

We designed a prototype for client approval, constructed from polypropylene, Astra board and Hexaboard, with aluminium corners, handles and castors. A production schedule was then agreed, as there was a two-week minimum turnaround for these cases. We delivered all the cases on time and both Dixons and their customers were delighted with the superior prestige and care offered by these bespoke cases.
